History

Shri Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar Math is a non-profit spiritual organization founded by Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri Karunanidhi Swamigal. It focuses on a peaceful place where sages, gurus, spiritual seekers reside and practice meditation and penance.

Shri Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar Math, is a historic Saivite monastic institution. It is a center dedicated to spreading Saiva Siddhanta philosophy and fostering spiritual growth and running a Vedic Gurukula to promote ancient vedic studies and Sanskrit.

Shri Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar Math hosts spiritual activities such as Rudra Yagam, Chandi Yagna, and daily Pujas to foster universal peace and personal growth. Daily Annadhanam offers (free food distribution) for visitors, sanyasis, and volunteers.

Yoga and Meditation

Our center offers a diverse programme of lessons and training courses in different spheres, such as Buddhism teachings, meditation practices, yoga, concentration and so on. Classes take place in shrine rooms and yoga studios almost every day. You are welcome!

Our Core Vision

Meditation is one of the greatest ways to obtain inner peace and harmony. It is believed that meditation helps to accustom the mind to positive thinking and calmness. When our mind is serene, it means that we are free from stress and open to true happiness. Everyone is invited to join our meditation lesson and enjoy the process.

Annadanam

Annadanam is offered twice a day to thousands of guests, sanyasis, brahmacharis, residents and volunteers at the Shri Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar Math, who have dedicated their lives to uplifting human consciousness and contributing to the wellbeing of all.
